For when your are experiencing issues with your Camera or Microphone with Zight here are a few things you can check for.

Application Recognition Issues
Device Detection
The application may fail to detect the camera or microphone if the devices are not properly connected or installed. So restarting the application or a quick reinstall can help.
In-App Settings
- Check application permission: Look for settings or preferences within the application.
- Select devices: Find the audio/video settings and ensure the correct camera and microphone are selected.
General Troubleshooting Steps
Restart Your Device
A simple restart for the app and device can often resolve temporary glitches causing camera and microphone issues.
Check for Updates
Ensure your operating system and applications are up to date. Updates often include bug fixes that can resolve device recognition problems.
Update drivers
Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause detection issues. Update the drivers through the Device Manager on Windows or System Preferences on macOS.
Test with Another Application
Try using the camera and microphone with a different application to see if the issue is specific to one application.
Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily
Sometimes, security software can block access to the camera and microphone. Temporarily disabling these can help determine if they are causing the issue, but remember to re-enable them afterward.
Check for Physical Issues
Ensure the camera lens is not covered and the microphone is not physically blocked or damaged.
