How Do I Cancel My Recording?

Sometimes we forget to set up everything or are interrupted and need to start over. Stopping the video marks the end of it, but it also uploads it, generating unwanted items. This is how you can cancel your video recordings to avoid that:

For Mac and Windows

When you start a video recording, a small video control bar appears at the bottom right corner of your screen. It looks like this:

Click on the Record button (the one on the left), and a sub-menu will appear:

Click on the far right button with an X in its center. This will show a pop-up asking to confirm the deletion of the recording.

Click on “Delete Recording” to cancel the recording. You’re all set!

For Zight Chrome Extension

When you start a video recording, a small video control bar appears at the bottom right corner of your screen. It looks like this:

Click on the trash can (icon at the far right), and a sub-menu will appear:

Click on “Delete Recording” to cancel the recording. You’re all set!
