Given the proper context, adding music or audio clips is very useful to enhance the experience of your content’s viewers. Here’s how you can do it with Zight:
For every platform (Mac, Windows, and Chrome Extension)
While using external speakers (not headphones or earphones), record your video getting as close as possible to your microphone (to avoid uncontrolled plosive sounds, consider using an anti-pop screen or a windscreen), allowing you to turn the background music (or audio clip) volume up without compromising the voice quality. The results are far better when you record using an external microphone, but it’s a “nice-to-have”, not a “must”. See image below:

Mac Only
You can record system audio by going to your Preferences> Recording> System Audio (click on the checkbox that says “include system audio”). See the GIF below:
Important: We've found that macOS's Voice Isolation setting can interfere with the expected performance of our software. To ensure the best results, we suggest using the Standard microphone mode while using Zight.
Mac only: Disable Voice Isolation
