Where is my data stored? Where is my data hosted?

Cloud storage is automatically enabled for all users, whether they are free or paid. When you record a video, capture a screenshot, or share a file, the video, audio, and chat text are uploaded into the Zight Cloud. The files are stored in data centers managed by Amazon Web Services.

After the files are uploaded they can be downloaded to a computer or streamed from a browser. To manage your captured content (videos, screenshots, gifs, files) or share a link with others, you can find your content in two places:

1) Accessible directly from your Zight:

2) Accessible directly from the web

  • Log into your account and navigate to the Dashboard page.

Zight also offers a second uploading option, Custom Storage. Custom Storage saves the files to your Amazon S3 bucket.  If you'd like to read more about the Data Centers and Security Practices we follow, you can read about them here.

If you need further assistance or have additional questions, we’d be happy to help! Please contact our support team at support@zight.com.
