If a Zight link shows “This item has moved”, the item is now available under a new, longer URL, but the content still exists.

What this means
Zight is updating some shared links to a newer, longer URL format. The old link and the new link are different, so make sure you use the complete new link.
If you own the item
- Sign in to Zight with the account that owns the item.
- Open the original shared link. Zight will take you to the item’s new link.
- Copy the new URL from your browser or use Zight’s Share option.
- Replace the old link anywhere you shared it, such as messages, documents, support tickets, or bookmarks.
The new link will be a longer share.zight.com link. Copy the complete new link before sharing or replacing it.
Find other links that need to be updated
We automatically notify the owner when invalid links get viewed. You can also find other deprecated links from your Zight settings. Download the CSV of viewed Zight links to see links that need to be replaced with their newer versions.
If someone else owns the item
Contact the item owner and ask them to open the original link while signed in to Zight. Only the owner can access the item and retrieve the new URL. Once they send you the updated link, use that link instead of the old one.
Still need help?
If you are the owner and cannot access the item after signing in, contact Zight Support with the original link and the email address on your Zight account.
