You probably know Zight for our screenshots, annotations, and recordings. But did you know we also support other file-sharing formats? That's right, you can upload and share a wide variety of files in Zight from PDF documents to CSV files.

**On the Free plan, you will not be able to upload: PDF, DOC(X), XLS(X), PPT(X), EXE, MSI, APK, ZIP, and other similar types of files**

How to upload local files

On Mac/Windows Desktop client

Upload files from your computer via the ‘Upload’ button under the Cloud icon:

On Mac

Press the Cloud icon, press ‘More’, and under ‘Additional Actions’, press the upload button.

Note that on the Mac Application if you drag several files into the application, it will automatically zip up all of those files into an Archive and upload it as a single file.

On Windows

Press the Cloud icon, press ‘More’, and under ‘Primary actions’, press the upload button.

You can also drag and drop on Mac

Use the shortcut seen here to upload selected files.
