How to Upload and Share Files on Zight

Overview

Zight allows users to easily upload and share various file formats, including screenshots, annotations, and video recordings. This feature is designed for both individual users and teams who need a seamless way to share documents, spreadsheets, and more. With Zight, sharing files such as PDFs, CSVs, and other formats is straightforward and efficient.

Steps

  1. Upload Files on Mac Desktop Client

    Click on the Cloud icon, select More, and under Additional Actions, click the Upload button. You can also drag and drop files directly into the application to automatically zip and upload them.

  1. Upload Files on Windows Desktop Client

    Click the Cloud icon, select More, and under Primary actions, click the Upload button.

  2. Upload Files on the Web Application

    Sign into https://share.zight.com/dashboard and click the Upload icon in the top right-hand corner to upload your files.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use drag and drop for quick file uploads directly into the application.
  • Take advantage of automatic zipping on Mac for multiple file uploads.
  • Regularly check your upload limits based on your subscription plan.

Troubleshooting

  • Unable to upload certain file types on Share plan → Upgrade to a paid plan to access full file uploading capabilities.
  • Files not appearing in the dashboard → Refresh the page or check your internet connection.
