Overview

Zight enables users to easily share their creative works by automatically copying a share link to the clipboard. This feature is ideal for content creators who want to quickly distribute their videos, GIFs, or screen captures. By customizing what gets copied—be it a share link, direct link, or embed code—you can ensure seamless integration into your preferred platforms.

Steps

  1. Access Preferences/Settings

    Open Zight and click the gear icon. Mac users should select Preferences, while Windows users should choose Settings.

  2. Navigate to the General Tab

    In the menu, click on the General tab to view clipboard options.

  3. Choose Clipboard Content

    Select what you would like Zight to copy to your clipboard: the content, direct link, or embed code.

  4. Manual Copy Options

    To manually copy different formats, click the three dots next to an item and choose the required option.

  • Regularly review your clipboard settings to ensure they match your sharing needs.
  • Utilize keyboard shortcuts for faster copying: Mac - Control, Command, C; Windows - Control, C.
  • Customize share links to make them more recognizable and user-friendly.

Troubleshooting

  • Clipboard not updating → Ensure you have saved changes in the Preferences or Settings menu.
  • Link not recognized → Double-check the URL is complete and includes all parameters after .jpg.
