Setting Up a Custom Domain with SSL/HTTPS for Your Brand

Overview

Custom domains let your team share Zight links from a branded URL. This helps create a consistent experience for customers and teammates.

Availability: As of June 2026, custom domains are available on Collaborate and Scale plans. If you are on a legacy Pro plan with a custom domain, Zight will notify you before any pricing-transition changes affect your custom domain access.

Before you start

• Confirm your workspace is on Collaborate or Scale.
• Make sure you have access to update your domain’s DNS settings.
• Choose the subdomain you want to use, such as share.yourcompany.com.

Setup steps

1. Open your Zight workspace settings.
2. Go to the custom domain or branding settings.
3. Enter the domain or subdomain you want to use.
4. Follow the DNS instructions shown in Zight.
5. Wait for DNS and SSL/HTTPS verification to complete.

Troubleshooting

• I do not see custom domain settings. Confirm that your workspace is on Collaborate or Scale and that you are an admin.
• My domain is not verifying. Double-check your DNS record values and allow time for DNS propagation.
• My existing custom domain is on an older plan. Watch for Zight’s pricing-transition communications, or contact Support for help reviewing your options.
