Zight provides you with all the tools you need to visually communicate ideas, share feedback, and collaborate with friends and co-workers using video and GIFs. Easily record full or select parts of your screen with audio and even add your webcam. (You can also annotate images and GIFs with text, highlighters, arrows, blurs, emojis, and more.)

Record any part of your screen and webcam with sound in Zight.

On Mac

Step 1: Select 'Record'

Step 2: Select your Preferences

Step 3: Click ‘Start recording’ to begin your capture

Once you’ve selected your preferences, click ‘Start recording’ to begin recording.

Step 4: Click the red circle to end your Recording

At the top of your screen, a red circle with a specified time indicates recording-in-progress. When you are ready to finish recording, simply click this red circle to end your capture. You can choose not to show the timer by clicking on the app icon, the gear button on the upper right corner of the window, preferences, recording, then uncheck "Show recording timer in menu bar (full screen only)" setting.

Or you can use Shortcut keys that are customizable. Use shortcut 'Cmd + Shift + 6' to capture a section of your screen to start recording - the desktop equivalent of selecting the 'record' icon in the desktop app.

Congrats! You’ve successfully finished your recording.

Note: You can also use the shortcuts below to supersede these steps. You can also edit these shortcuts in your Preferences.
