Sharing your visual content with Zight is a seamless experience. Whether you're capturing screenshots, recording videos, or creating GIFs, Zight makes it easy by generating a short link for your file, automatically copied to your clipboard for instant sharing. This eliminates the hassle of large file attachments, allowing you to focus on effective communication.

Steps

  1. Access Sharing Settings

    On Mac, go to Preferences; on Windows, navigate to Settings. Here, you can adjust how links and files are copied to your clipboard for sharing.

  2. Choose Link Type

    Select the type of link you want to automatically copy: Copy shared link for viewable pages, or Copy content for embedding.

  3. Use Keyboard Shortcuts

    Paste the Zight link into applications like Gmail or Slack using shortcuts: Command + V for Mac or Control + V for Windows. This allows the content to be previewed directly via a thumbnail.

  4. Share in Slack or MS Teams

    Copy your link and paste it in Slack or Microsoft Teams. The content will unfurl, showing a thumbnail or preview in the thread, enabling direct playback or viewing.
