Overview

Canceling a video recording is essential when interruptions occur or when setups are missed. This feature prevents unwanted content from being uploaded and cluttering your storage. It’s useful for both casual users and professionals who require a clean and organized video library.

Steps

  1. Cancel Recording on Mac and Windows

    When you start recording, a control bar will appear at the bottom right of your screen. Click on the Record button, and then select the far right button with an X. Confirm by clicking Delete Recording.

  2. Cancel Recording with Zight Chrome Extension

    During a recording, the control bar appears at the bottom right corner. Click the trash can icon to open a sub-menu, then select Delete Recording.
